Spring Allergies for Where You Live

Posted

Spring allergies for where you live – whether you live in the best or worst cities for allergies?

If you suffer from spring allergies and you live in one of the following cities your sneezing, runny nose and itchy eyes are going to be even more of a challenge.

Knoxville and Memphis, Tennessee, Jackson, Mississippi, Louisville, Kentucky and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Why? These cities have higher than average pollen counts and warmer weather for longer periods of time.

But as there are more than 40 million people who have grass and pollen allergies, no region is totally allergen free. Which means that even if you move away from a pollen-heavy zone, the chances that you will develop new allergies in your new environment are very high.

The best option is to be proactive about your allergies no matter where you live. Make sure you have a treatment plan in place. Don’t wait for allergy season to kick in before you start taking allergy drops. Start now to help build up your immune system.

Because even when it’s been a hard, cold winter and spring allergens are off to a slow start, doesn’t mean you won’t have the highest pollen count ever. Sometimes that makes it worse because now the spring pollen count is rearing its ugly head just as the summer grasses and ragweed are coming into play.

Allergy Relief - What’s your best course of action?

Spring allergies are commonly caused by tree pollen. You can get tested to find out which trees trigger your allergies. Contact with the trees can be avoided by staying inside when pollen counts are high or wearing a mask when working outside.

If you have a trigger tree in your yard, remove the tree if possible or trim the branches to reduce the amount of pollen it releases.

Track your allergies here… so that you know the days to stay inside and when you need to start taking allergy remedies.

Start taking Allergena allergy drops – made for where you live. Allergena is made for 9 different geographical zones in the U.S. This means the antigens in a bottle of Allergena for your zone are specific to the trees, weeds, and grasses that are causing you to suffer!
